The Row
It’s said that The Row sisters compile their playlists themselves. It’s especially commendable that their music selections on Spotify are updated regularly – once a month. More often than not, Mary-Kate and Ashley choose calm, serenity-inducing tracks – a similar mood is broadcast by The Row’s clothing. The January 2022 playlist includes Massive Attack, French funk band Cortex and Jamaican singer Marcia Griffiths, who performed with Bob Marley.

Chanel
Chanel has entrusted its musical selections to its ambassadors and friends. The young Belgian singer Angele prepared a sunny playlist for the beach collection, which will take you to the distant beaches. Chinese film star Zhou Xun introduced Chanel’s subscribers to new Chinese artists. And Margaret Cuelli collected music infused with the vibe of the 1990s. Hopefully, Chanel’s next musical curators will be Caroline de Maigret and Penelope Cruz.

Prada
Prada generously shares the music from their shows – for the last three seasons soundtracks for the show are written by Canadian minimal-techno genius Richie Hawtin, known under the pseudonym of Plastikman. Prada also has music from the brand’s parties in different cities of the world: there is even a playlist created especially for the recent Prada Mode Moscow exhibition at the Levenson mansion.

Undercover .
Undercover designer Jun Takahashi admitted that punk music has always had a special place in his work. The brand’s collections over the years have been inspired by the work of Patti Smith, Talking Heads, the Ramones and Joy Division. For the Undercover Fall/Winter 2021 show the designer collaborated with Thom Yorke: the musician made a haunting remix of “Creep”. Takahashi also regularly shares his own playlists called Kosmik Music, which is literally space music.

Lemaire
Every season, creative directors Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Lynn Tran update their playlists on Spotify. They entrust the curation of their music collection to French musician Cédric Marzewski, known under the pseudonym Pilooski. Lemaire also collaborates with California-based label Now Again, which specializes in reissues of funk and soul from the 1960s and 1980s.

Gucci
Last year, Gucci celebrated the brand’s 100th anniversary. On this occasion, the brand collected 100 tracks of different music genres, where Gucci is mentioned – by the way, we had to choose from two thousand songs. In addition to rappers of different years, who loved and still love Gucci, in the resulting playlists can be found Aerosmith, Radiohead and Amy Winehouse.
